What We Do

Adult Education Centres, through funding from Adult Learning and Literacy, offers adults, through a supportive classroom environment, the opportunity to take literacy and high school credit courses.

Many of our students works towards achieving their Mature Student High School Diploma. Others, while they have graduated from high school, are able to take courses they might need for post-secondary institutions or work.

We offer a range of grade 12 courses, including three mathematics options, English options, and science courses, as well as literacy classes and other courses needed to prepare students for Grade 12.

Course run twice a year. Semester One runs from September through to the end of January, and Semester Two from February through June. Classes run mornings, afternoons and evenings, twice a week, either on a Monday-Wednesday schedule, or a Tuesday-Thursday schedule.
